Rasa Tumaševičiūtė is a PhD student in Ecology and Environmental sciences, representative of Vilnius University Life Sciences Centre PhD students at Senate, environmental-social collaborator and circular economy consultant.
Artwork is part of a bigger exhibition “Už švarią Lietuvą” (For a cleaner Lithuania) which takes a critical view of consumerism issues from social, scientific and cultural points (You can find it until 18th of November: https://goo.gl/maps/9TVePGMXWGjrHzG27).
Artwork tackles with microplastics problem in our beach sand. Microplastics were collected from Klaipeda’s Melnrages beach during beach cleaning effort “(Ne)matomos Baltijos smiltelės” (Unseen Baltic sandstone).
